On April 27, 2026, Kamila Batavia introduced “Tayomi” through an intimate listening session and press conference titled Terhempas ke Rembulan at OPPO Flagship Store, Gandaria City, Jakarta.

Held in collaboration with Seqara Communications, the event marked the first public gathering of Kamila Batavia’s Baroque Galactic era — a world shaped by memory, longing, protection, and old-world imagination.

The event brought together members of the media, invited communities, students, and listeners to enter the emotional and visual world of “Tayomi,” a song written as a love letter to Kamila’s late mother and as the opening chapter of her upcoming album, Memento Mori: The Baroque Galactic Era.

Event Highlights

The session opened with an introduction video by Kamila Batavia, giving attendees a first glimpse into the personal meaning behind “Tayomi” and the artistic direction of the Baroque Galactic era.

This was followed by a screening of the official music video, allowing the audience to experience the visual world of “Tayomi” on screen — a cinematic landscape of castles, memory, loss, and noble melancholy..

A talk show session then explored the story behind the song, the meaning of the title “Tayomi,” and Kamila’s process of transforming grief into music, imagery, and narrative. The audience was also invited into an interpretation session, where listeners shared their own readings of the song and reflected on how “Tayomi” resonated with their personal experiences of longing, memory, and loss.

Enter Your Atmosphere

As part of the collaboration with OPPO, the event also featured the “Enter Your Atmosphere” reel challenge, inviting participants to respond creatively to the world of “Tayomi” through visual storytelling.

The challenge reflected one of the central ideas of the Baroque Galactic era: that music is not only something to be heard, but also something to be entered, interpreted, and inhabited.

Live Performance by Heaven Groove

The gathering continued with a live performance by Heaven Groove, who performed three songs from Kamila Batavia’s catalogue: “Hilang dan Tak Kembali,” “Tutup Mata,” and “Berakhir dan Berlalu.”

Their performance brought Kamila’s earlier works into the room, creating a bridge between her previous releases and the new emotional universe opened by “Tayomi.” Through these songs, the audience was invited to trace the themes that have long shaped Kamila’s writing: longing, memory, separation, and emotional resilience.

Guests and Communities

The event was attended by members of the media, including representatives from El Mediora, Women Obsession, and InsertLive, alongside invited guests from student communities and the Ravengard Alliance community (medieval and old-world community).

Their presence helped shape the event not only as a press conference, but also as a small gathering of early witnesses to the Baroque Galactic era — a meeting point between media, community, music, and storytelling.

Closing Moment

The event concluded with the distribution of exclusive “Tayomi” merchandise, marking the closing of the session and offering attendees a tangible memory from the first public gathering of the era.

More than a release event, Terhempas ke Rembulan became a symbolic gate: the moment “Tayomi” left the private chamber of grief and began to meet its first listeners.

For Kamila Batavia, “Tayomi” is not only a song release. It is the beginning of a larger artistic world — one where grief becomes architecture, memory becomes a castle, and a mother’s name becomes a prayer of protection.
